Near the beginning of their journey, they turned from God to worship a golden calf and because of that, God told them that that generation would never enter the Promised Land.īut now there’s a new generation. God has led them in the wilderness for 40 years, not because it took that long to walk from Egypt to this place, but because of their rebellion.
